CPC-cplink2 by Rebs (Raspberry Pico 2350 inside)

-

The CPC-Link by Revaldinho originally uses a Raspberry Pi acting as a coprocessor for the Amstrad CPC to help it with heavy tasks such as 3D calculation. Personally, I think it is a very good extension that has unfortunately seen little use, but it is atually used by NoRecess with PiStudio which is a native IDE for the Amstrad CPC. It has features such as an editor and using a allowing the use of a GIT repository.

Today, Rebs presents the CPC-cplink2 which swaps the Pi for a Pico 2350 with still full compatibility with the original CPC-cplink, but adds a 1024-byte FIFO queue (originally 16) and the ability for the CPC to read data calculated by the 2350 in ROMs). There is no website yet to showcase the extension, but that should arrive by the end of the year. Stay tuned !
